Mini Haul and Review | Soap & Glory

I have been longing for these products for quite a while now and only over the past several weeks did I pick up the Glow All Out luminizer and the Solar Powder bronzer from Soap & Glory. I had my eye on these two products for quite a while but I didn't get round to buying them until very recently. They are £11 each but they do a 3 for 2 offer in Boots making the products more affordable. I actually bought them in separate purchases but I thought I would review them together as they are a good pair.

The first product I picked up was the Glow All Out Luminizing Face Powder. The first thing I noticed was the extremely pretty packaging and I also love the branding of the Soap and Glory products with the witty names which remind me of Benefit makeup, only half the price.

The powder itself is a gorgeous pink with a hind of peach in it. It has a slight shimmery finish to it and although it doesn't have the best pigmentation, when dusted onto the cheek it gives a delicate sheen. I would say that it is a mixture in between a highlighter and a sheer blusher, this product is perfect for everyday as it gives a healthy radiance to the skin.

I apply it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to the apples of my cheeks and on the bridge of my nose just to give my face a slight glow. I would suggest this product to someone who is looking to for a subtle highlighter with a 'moonlit' finish.

A couple weeks later I purchased the Solar Powder Bronzer. Again I love the unique packaging of this product, it makes it look more expensive and sophisticated. I love the little mirrors because they make the products feel more personal and easier to apply if you don't have a mirror on hand.

I think of this product as a mix and match bronzing duo with one side slightly darker, giving perfect colour when mixed together. The bronzing powder itself has no shimmer making it perfect for contouring although when first opened, it had a shimmery layer on top of the S&G logo, which, disappointingly, wore off after my first time applying it.

I usually tend to apply this just below my cheekbones to slightly contour my face with my Real Techniques Contour Brush but when applied lightly to the face and neck it gives a gorgeous sun kissed look to the skin.

Overall I these products definitely lived up to high expectations I had of them and I would love to purchase more Soap & Glory products similar to this because I have heard good things about other products like Love at First Blush and Peach Party.

Thank you for reading
